Super 30 box office collection Day 18 - Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur starrer Super 30 has been released two weeks ago and the film still doing a much better performance. Despite facing a tough challenge from Disney's live action film - The Lion King. Also, the film will also clashes with Kangana Ranaut's much-hyped Judgementall Hai Kya and Arjun Kapoor's Arjun Patiala at the silver-screen from today onwards. Released on July 12, Super 30 has been received mixed reviews from critics as well as from the audience. Hrithik's performance in the film has been highly appreciated. Based on the life of Bihar-based mathematician Anand Kumar who is known for his initiative 'Super 30' which teaches economically backward kids for the IIT entrance exams free of cost.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film's box office collection was Rs 1.39 crore on Monday, thus making a total box collection of the film reached up-to the Rs 127.32 crore. It has become the 9th film of 2019 to achieve this feat. Super 30 has earned an impressive of Rs 160 crore worldwide so far.
Super 30 is Hrithik Roshan's one of the latest biggest hits after Krish 3 (2013), Kaabil (2017) and Bang Bang (2014) that have crossed Rs 100-crore mark. Moreover. Hrithik Roshan starrer has been running tax-free (i.e. no GST) in five states like Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and the national capital Delhi too. This would be some sort of benefit for sure which sees in the box office collections of the film.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh yesterday mentioned that Super 30 had performed better than big Bollywood releases like Salman Khan's Bharat, Akshay Kumar's Kesari and Ranveer Singh's Gully Boy in the second week.
Super 30 is produced by Phantom Films, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Reliance Entertainment. Apart from Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur, the film also stars Virendra Saxena, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Srivastava, Johny Lever, Manav Gohil and Amit Sadh in key roles.
