Super 30 Box Office Collection Day 15: Hrithik Roshan's film is still running strongly despite facing some new releases

Super 30 box office collection Day 15 - Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur's Super 30 is running strongly at the box office after the completion of two weeks. The film has seen yet another very successful weekend even after facing a strong competition from Hollywood release The Lion King that is performing very well at the box office as well as newly-released Kangana Ranaut starrer Judgementall Hai Kya and Diljit Dosanjh's Arjun Patiala. Released on July 12, Super 30 has been received mixed reviews from critics as well as from the audience. Based on the life of Bihar-based mathematician Anand Kumar who is known for his initiative 'Super 30' which teaches economically backward kids for the IIT entrance exams free of cost.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film's box office collection was Rs 2.50 crore on Thursday and Rs 3 crore approx on Friday, thus making a total box collection of the film reached up-to the Rs 116.21 crore approx. It has become the 9th film of 2019 to achieve this feat. Super 30 has earned an impressive of Rs 160 crore worldwide so far. The film has also got succeed to impress many in theatres and gained a solid word of mouth. As a result, in the first week, the film did the business of Rs 75.85 crores, while in the second week, it's box office collection was Rs 37.86 crores.

Super 30 is Hrithik Roshan's one of the latest biggest hits after Krish 3 (2013), Kaabil (2017) and Bang Bang (2014) that have crossed Rs 100-crore mark. Moreover. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh yesterday mentioned that Super 30 had performed better than big Bollywood releases like Salman Khan's Bharat, Akshay Kumar's Kesari and Ranveer Singh's Gully Boy in the second week.

Hrithik Roshan starrer has been running tax-free (i.e. no GST) in five states like Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and the national capital Delhi too. This would be some sort of benefit for sure which sees in the box office collections of the film.

Super 30 is produced by Phantom Films, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Reliance Entertainment. Apart from Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur, the film also stars Virendra Saxena, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Srivastava, Johny Lever, Manav Gohil and Amit Sadh in key roles.
