Super 30 box office collection Day 1 - Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur starrer "Super 30" was released this Friday. The film has received mixed reviews from fans and critics. Super 30's box office collection was opened to a good response but failed to overtake Shahid Kapoor's latest film Kabir Singh that is performing very well in the box office. Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer "Kabir Singh" has already become the highest grossing Hindi films of 2019 so far. It needs to be seen whether Super 30 will affect the successful running of Kabir Singh.
Super 30's box office collection was around Rs 11.83 crore on its Day 1, according to early estimates. Kabir Singh managed one of the highest openings on Day 1 with its box office collection of Rs 20.21 crore.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, best known for directing Kangana Ranaut-starrer Queen (2014). The film is based on the life of award-winning mathematician Anand Kumar who rose to fame for training underprivileged children for the IIT entrance examination.
The report suggests that Indian cricket team's exit from the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is good news for Super 30 as the film wouldn't suffer basically on July 14, its first Sunday, when the final match is scheduled between England vs New Zealand to be played at the iconic ground Lord's. But now, the only factor that can make or break Super 30 is its merit.
