Sooryavanshi Release Date: Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif starrer to storm theatres on April 30

According to reports, a rumor has erupted in the Bollywood world that Sooryavanshi's release date has been revealed. Several sources have claimed that the most anticipated Hindi action blockbuster of 2021 is scheduled for a release on 30th April.

The movie was initially scheduled to release last year but was postponed due to the COVID-19 lockdown.

A report in ETimes quoted a source as saying, "They have waited long enough, of course, they didn't see this current wave coming in Maharashtra. But how long can they further wait? They now believe that if the crowd can come in for 'Wonder Woman' and 'Master', why not for 'Sooryavanshi'?"

He also added, "So, the Sooryavanshi teaser, being released on Rohit Shetty's birthday is most likely to carry the data in question as well."

Another source said that the exhibitors have been informed about this new release date and they have been told to book screens for Sooryavanshi.

He further added, "The plan is to give it one of the widest releases ever for a Hindi film. The formal announcement of the Sooryavanshi release date will take place on Sunday, March 14 along with the release of a new poster.''

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Sooryavanshi has Akshay Kumar playing the role of Veer Sooryavanshi, the chief of the Anti-Terrorism squad.

Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh will be seen in cameos as Bajirao Singham and Simmba respectively in this film. The film was to hit the theatrical screens on March 24 last year, however, the Sooryavanshi release date is now expected to be 30th April 2021.
