Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi on Diwali and Ranveer Singh's 83 on Christmas, Official

Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh's 83 is all set to hit the theatrical release this year on Diwali and Christmas. Rohit Shetty directorial Sooryavanshi and Kabir Khan's directorial 83 first plans to release in theatres this year. Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif and Kabir Khan's 83 with Ranveer Singh in the lead is reported to have a theatrical release this year on Diwali and Christmas, respectively.

Sooryavanshi New Release Date

There is good news for audiences awaiting Akshay Kumar's film 'Sooryavanshi' and Ranveer Singh's '83 The Film'. After a long wait, these two much-awaited Bollywood films finally got new release dates. As much as their fans are happy to hear this news, multiplex theaters of the country are also happy. These cinemas have announced the release of both these films, expressing their happiness on social media.

Ever since a nationwide lockdown, locks have been hanging in theaters. Although the shutters of theaters are still not up, the announcement of the release of these two films has raised hope in them soon. The owners of theaters are also upset due to the lockdown that many small and big movies of Hindi cinema have announced their release on OTT. However, the makers and directors of both these films had already announced that these films will be released in theaters whenever they occur.

83 New Release Date

According to posts made on social media by Taran Adrash, Rohit Shetty-directed film 'Sooryavanshi' will release on Diwali, while Kabir Khan-directed film '83' will be released on Christmas.

It is also evident from the posts of these two that their Diwali has already started. Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif's film 'Sooryavanshi' was first decided to release on March 24. Whereas, with many actors like Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Hardy Sandhu, Jeeva, the film '83' was to be released on 10 April.
