Kareena Kapoor Khan has requested Rs. 12 crores to assume the role of Sita in a proposed film on the Ramayana. The film will portray the tale of the Ramayana from Sita's perspective and has been named 'Sita: The Incarnation'.
The proposed Sita-centric film is to be directed by Alaukik Desai and has been written by 'Bahubali' writer KV Vijayendra Prasad. As per reports, "Kareena will shoot for Veere Di Wedding 2 and Hansal Mehta's film first since they are ongoing films that will be finished in one month's time each."
Source further added, "Sita will require in any event 8-10 months of prep, shoot, and creation. So she will be totally devoured by one film by then however Bebo (Kareena) additionally understands that this will be her hardest and probably greatest role till date, as it's a retelling of Ramayana from Sita's perspective."
