Shikara Box Office Collection

So far, the film has collected 4.90 crores and few people would have expected it to be even the lifetime score. When there are three to four other big films in the running, it's remarkable that a small film like Shikara with no face value had a good opening weekend number. The film is directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra whose last bollywood director's release dates back to 2007. The film was Eklavya and it was a big budget star drama that had flopped commercially. Shikara is in a completely different area and it looks like it may end up making a profit for everyone involved.
