Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been sentenced five-year jail term in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case by a Jodhpur court while Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Neelam have been acquitted from this case.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Dev Kumar Khatri has said that the actor is a 'habitual offender'. Judge said the actor has been convicted. This all happened on the sets of “Hum Saath Saath Hain”.
The superstar has been charged under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act. Also, other actors were charged under Section 51 read with Section 149 (unlawful assembly) of the Indian Penal Code.
