Two mega-entertainers hit theatres on Friday, but it appears that both films have flopped at the box office. 'Heropanti 2' starring Tiger Shroff and 'Runway 34' starring Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan both struggled to make an impact on opening day. According to early estimates, 'Heropanti 2' earned approximately Rs 7 crore nett, while 'Runway 34' earned around Rs 3.25 crore nett.
Ajay Devgn and Tiger Shroff will have one of their worst opening days ever with these numbers. It will be interesting to see if 'Heropanti 2' and 'Runway 34' can make money during the Eid break.
According to experts, Runway 34 has been released at the time when South Film industry is constantly releasing a flurry of Pan-India films. Surprisingly, South behemoth 'KGF 2' Hindi has reportedly grossed 40% more than 'Heropanti 2' and 'Runway 34' at national multiplexes. 'KGF 2' Hindi collected roughly Rs ₹4-4.25 crore nett on its third Friday.
