Rocketry: The Nambi Effect was shot in Hindi, English, and Tamil at the same time, and it has been dubbed in Telugu and Malayalam. In the Hindi and Tamil versions, Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya make extensive cameo appearances. Madhavan mentioned releasing Rocketry in various languages because pan-India films are popular right now.

He said, "My films have always been set all throughout India. I believe the rest of the world is catching up with me; I started the trend many years ago. Rocketry, unlike Ramji Londonwaley's or 13B, which was one of the first films to be shot simultaneously, was shot in three languages, not two. People don't give me credit, although I'm the one who started the trend several times."
