According to box office experts, R Madhavan's Rocketry has a potential to outperform Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjana Sanghi's Rashtra Kavach Om. Rocketry reportedly earned roughly ₹1.7 crores on its first day. The movie has had slow start but the good word-of-mouth is spreading. The movie is likely to grow multi folds during the weekend. On July 1, 2022, the film was released in six languages worldwide: Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Rocketry is a strong ensemble star cast that includes prominent international performers including Phyllis Logan, Vincent Riotta, and Ron Donachie, as well as special appearances by superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya. The video depicts the espionage controversy that drastically altered Nambi Narayanan's life and reveals the truth behind it all.

The film was shot on a massive scale in India, France, Canada, Georgia, and Serbia. TriColour Films, Varghese Moolan Pictures, and 27th Investments are producing Rocketry. The film will be distributed in India by UFO Moviez and Red Giant Movies, and worldwide by Yash Raj Films and Phars Film Co.
