Ranveer Singh, a "die-hard fan of Indian cricket", met Virat Kohli and his favourite cricketers like Virender Sehwag, Sourav Ganguly, Hardik Pandya, Shikhar Dhawan at Old Trafford after the recently-concluded India vs Pakistan match. Team India thrashed Pakistan by 89 runs by D/L method in Sunday's game, taking their winning streak to 7-0, when it comes to World Cup matches against the neighbouring country.
Ranveer took to his social accounts mainly on Instagram and Twitter to share pictures of his interaction with Virat Kohli and lauded him for "leading our country like a true alpha warrior". The actor took to Twitter to share a series of pictures with his favourite cricket stars and wrote heart-warming messages for each one of them.
Sharing a photo with Virendra Sehwag, Ranveer wrote, "Arguably the most destructive batsman the world has ever seen!" Calling Sourav Ganguly the "Prince of Calcutta", Ranveer tweeted, "God of the off-side! Bengal Tiger!" He also shared photographs with "The Master Blaster" Sachin Tendulkar, Shikhar Dhawan and Hardik Pandya, whom he dubbed as "unstoppable".
