According to recent reports, Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar along with his leading co-stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha flew to Ayodhya this morning for the shooting of the upcoming mega-budget Bollywood movie - Ram Setu. The trio will be shooting the Mahurat shot in Ayodhya.
Akshay Kumar shared this news on his Instagram handle and wrote, "A special film, a special start...Team #RamSetu off to Ayodhya for the mahurat shot. And so the journey begins.

According to reports, Ram Setu will be co-produced by Amazon Prime Video, Cape of Good Films, Abundantia Entertainment, and Lyca Productions. Directed by Abhishek Sharma of Parmanu and Tere Bin Laden. Akshay Kumar will play the role of an archaeologist, who is set out to explore whether the Ram Setu bridge is a myth or a reality.
For many years, the Ram Setu bridge has been a very crucial topic of debate since the bridge was discovered and it also holds a special place in Hindu texts. Now with this film, it seems the audience will get to see Ram Setu debate on big screens.
Akshay Kumar is also co-producing the film with Abduntia and Vikram Malhotra. Chandraprakash Dwivedi is the creative producer of the film.
