At the conclusion of its first extended weekend, the film "Ram Setu," starring Akshay Kumar, surpassed the ₹50 crore mark. The Diwali release of the film clashed with 'Thank God' by Ajay Devgan and Sidharth Malhotra.

There were not many people in attendance to see "Ram Setu" in theatres because of India's match at the current T20 World Cup. The movie made a net income of ₹7.75 crores on Sunday. The six-day extended weekend's final day saw "Ram Setu" earn about ₹56 crores nett.

Speaking about the movie, director Abhishek Sharma recently said, "I had an idea during the pandemic in 2020, and I started working on it. When I called Akshay Kumar, he inquired as to whether or not I had prepared a screenplay. It was written by me and sent to him. Vikram Sharma of Abundantia Entertainment and Akshay Sir jammed on it. We all thought it was a good idea, so we made the decision to travel together. I appreciate their support of my goals."
