On DDLJ's 25th anniversary, a bronze statue of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol is exhibiting at Leicester Square. DDLJ is an iconic movie produced by Yash Chopra, starring evergreen reel couple Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.

On the occasion of DDLJ's 25th anniversary, a bronze statue of Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan is going to be exhibit at Leicester Square in London on 20th October 2020. The film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is produced by Yash Raj films featuring the iconic evergreen reel couple Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. The film is released in 1995. 

Making the announcement, Yash Raj films tweet it on Twitter, " @imsrk and @itsKajolD's #DDLJ Statue to be unveiled in Leicester Square Statue to mark the film’s 25th Anniversary. #DDLJ25

The news is announced by the heart of London Business Alliance, it would be one of the latest addition at the Scenes in the Square which also includes statues of Wonder Woman, Harry Potter and etc. 

As per the statement of Mark Williams who is the director of Destination Marketing at Heart of London Business Alliance says they are excited to make this iconic addition. 

Shah Rukh Khan is called the of the Bollywood film industry who has done more than 90 films in his acting career till now. The actor Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol have done more than 12 films together.

“It's fantastic to be adding such titans of international cinema to our trail as Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. This statue is a fitting tribute to the global popularity of Bollywood and the cultural bridges that cinema can help build, and we're in no doubt it will attract fans from all around the world," says Mark Williams. 

The film DDLJ is written and produced by Aditya Chopra which broke the box office records. DDLJ is stated as one of the biggest blockbusters in the history of Hindi Cinema.
