Mouni Roy pens down heartfelt note, appeals fans to go 'Local for Diwali'

The actress Mouni Roy is one of the most famous actresses in Television and the Bollywood film Industry. The actress pens down a heartfelt note for her fans in which she is appealing her fans to buy local for Diwali. Diwali is around the corner and all the families are busy shopping and decorating their homes. On this holy occasion, she appeals to her fans to buy necessary things from local shops. 

Mouni Roy took it to her Instagram handle and said, "I feel most like myself in indian outfits! I love em! Our weavers and artisans are our national treasures. They have been bringing us joy, colouring our lives and lighting up our homes for years. As we navigate through these challenging times, it is our responsibility to support them and our home grown textile companies, establishments and designers."

She further added that "On National Handloom Day, I am exhilarated to have bought some beautiful diyas from a local shop and shopped for a lovely ethnic wear designed by an extremely talented local designer and now it’s your turn to go #Local4Diwali."

The actress is wearing a beautiful red lehenga with a heavy beautiful maang-tika. She is giving a very graceful look for Diwali. What she has tried to say in her post is that she likers herself most in Indian outfits. She praises the weavers of our country that how they bring so much joy and colors by lighting up our homes for years.

For the past few months, our country has remained shut and many people lost their jobs but not it is our job to serve them. She spreads the message to buy local for Diwali.

Mouni Roy made her television debut in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi which was released in 2006, produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. She has also done multiple movies in Bollywood such as Gold opposite Akshay Kumar and Made in China opposite Rajkummar Rao and many others.
