Mayday: Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan reunite after 7 years of 'Satyagraha'

Mayday is the new upcoming movie in which Ajay Devgn and Big B Amitabh Bachchan reunite together after Satyagraha which was released 7 years ago on August 30, 2013. Both the megastar actors are set to be seen once again. It is strongly rumored that Ajay Devgn will be seen playing the role of a pilot. 

It is the first time when Ajay Devgn will be seen directing Amitabh Bachchan on screen. There no details revealed about Bachchan's role by the makers of Mayday. The rest of the cast for the film is still being finalized and it will be revealed soon in a matter of time. The film is said to be a human drama-thriller.

According to the sources, "Ajay Devgn will not only play the lead in the film along with Big B but also direct the film. This will also be the first time Ajay will be directing Bachchan saab on celluloid. When he was scripting for his next directorial venture, he immediately thought of Amit ji and of and wanted him only for the role. Mayday is a thrilling human story which Big B loved and he agreed to be part of the project, when he got the offer from Ajay."

Both the actors have done quite a few movies together such as Major Sahab, Khakee, and Satyagraha. Ajay Devgn was earlier seen in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior movie which was directed by Om Raut and Ajay Devgan which was released in theaters on 10 January 2020. 

As per the sources, the movie is going to floors this December in Hyderabad after Ajay Devgn completes his current projects while Big B Amitabh Bachchan is currently shooting for KBC. After seeing an incredible performance by Ajay Devgn in his last movie Tanhaji we cannot wait for another amazing character.
