Aamir Khan's movie Laal Singh Chaddha has received a lot of recent media attention. The movie was expected to be the biggest money generator of the year, so the audience eagerly anticipated its release. But Laal Singh Chaddha ended up being a massive box office failure. Khan has already said he won't make Laal Singh Chaddha streamable until six months after the film opens in theatres.
The actor said, "The movie is currently playing in theatres, but you may also wait six months to watch it on OTT." Here's everything you need to know about Laal Singh Chaddha's OTT deal.
Aamir Khan reportedly requested ₹150 crores from the significant streaming service, according to the latest reports. Additionally, because he was thinking about a Chinese distribution, he requested that Laal Singh Chaddha have its OTT premiere on Netflix six months after its theatrical debut.
When the movie bombed, the streamer even decreased his offer to ₹50 crores, which wasn't how Aamir had imagined the scenario would develop. The streamer had been prepared to provide ₹80–90 crores. Since Aamir refused to accept that amount and wanted a final payment of ₹125 crores, the transaction was never finalized.
