Akshay Kumar has filed a Rs 500 Crore defamation notice to a YouTuber from Bihar named Rashid Siddiqui, who made false and baseless allegations against him in the late Shushant Singh Rajput Case. Read further to know the inside story of this defamation case.
Akshay Kumar sent a legal notice through a law firm IC Legal on November 17, 2020, to Rashid Siddiqui, seeking Rs. 500 Crore for claiming false allegations in a video which he uploaded on his YouTube channel named 'FF News - Rashid Siddiqui'.
The YouTuber has been booked by the Mumbai police in a defamation case. In the notice, Akshay Kumar stated that due to his defamatory videos he suffered a huge loss in which he suffered through mental trauma, including her reputation as a common human being, and this is the reason why he filed Rs 500 Crore defamation.
In his YouTube video, he alleged that Akshay Kumar helped the summoned Rhea Chakraborty to escape to Canada along with having secret talks with Maharashtra's Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aaditya Thackeray in the Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. He was earlier arrested by the police for spreading the fake news in which he dragged the Uddhav and his son Aditya.
According to a resource, Rashid earned 15 lakh rupees in the duration of four months for making fake content on the Sushant Singh Rajput case. He is a 25-year-old man who studied civil engineering from Bihar. Advocate Dharmendra Mishra of Shiv Sena's legal cell filed a case against the YouTuber. Police summoned him when they found out that he used the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's case to earn money and increase his followers on social media by spreading the news.
