Kabir Singh Box Office Collection Day 30 - Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer "Kabir Singh" has seen an amazing month in the box office. The film is running exceptional well since the very first day. Released on June 21, Kabir Singh continued its dream run even in its fourth weekend. After the four remarkable weeks, it is still holding well in its fifth weekend despite facing a tough competition from Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 and Jon Favreau directional new highly-buzzed Hollywood film The Lion King. Both Super 30 and The Lion King saw exceptional growth from Friday to Saturday of up to 90 and 70 per cent respectively. Kabir Singh's box office collection is well set to touch the Rs 275 crore mark. It might not be Rs 300 crore, but it is close enough to this landmark. The film has comfortably surpassed the previous blockbuster - Vicky Kaushal's URI: The Surgical Strike by a huge margin. Kabir Singh's box office collection is far ahead of URI's lifetime domestic collection of Rs 245 crore. The film is still running but it might be out of the theaters after Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer 'Judgementall Hai Kya' is released this Friday.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film has now entered the fifth weekend and managed to collect the amount of Rs 1.03 crore on Friday and On his 5th Saturday, the film's box office collection was Rs 1.65 crores. Thus, making its total box office collection after a month has become Rs 268.94 crore at the domestic box office. Kabir Singh did the business of Rs 134.42 crores from 3123 screens nationwide in the first week, Rs 78.78 crores in the second week, Rs 36.40 crores in third & Rs 16.66 crores in the fourth week.
Kabir Singh is the remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy and is directed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy. In the film, Shahid Kapoor plays the lead role of Kabir Singh who takes to substance abuse after his girlfriend (played by Kiara Advani) is forced to marry another man.
Apart from Shahid Kapoor, the film also features Arjan Bajwa as Kabir Singh's brother, Suresh Oberoi as Kabir Singh's father, Kamini Kaushal, Adil Hussain and Nikita Dutta are the other actors playing supporting roles.
Kabir Singh was released on June 21, 2019 and the film was released across 3,123 screens in India and a total of 493 screens overseas.
