Kabir Singh Box Office Collection Day 25: Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer "Kabir Singh" has entered its fifth week, yet the film continues to retain its magic at the box office. However, the film has overcome all its challenges - mixed reviews, torrential rainfall at many places in India, ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, Wimbledon, the release of Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur's Super 30 - to emerge as the highest grossing film of 2019 so far. Kabir Singh has already emerged as the highest-grossing Hindi film this year after beating the lifetime collection of Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike.
The film's box office collection was Rs 1.65 crore on Monday. Released on June 21, Kabir Singh continued its dream run even in its fourth weekend and made Rs 10 crore, thus making its total box office collection upto the Rs 261.59 crore.
Kabir Singh is jointly produced by Cine1 Studios and T-Series and focuses on the protagonist, an alcoholic surgeon (played by Shahid Kapoor) who goes on a self-destructive path after his girlfriend (played by Kiara Advani) is forced to marry someone else.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film was released across 3,123 screens in India and a total of 493 screens overseas. Also, the film hit the screens on 21 June, 2019.
