Hurdang: The film, which runs for 122 minutes, tells a love tale against the backdrop of a student protest in Allahabad (today's Prayagraj) in 1990 against the Mandal Commission report's implementation. The setting has not been thoroughly researched and shown, nor has the love story been filled out in such a manner that it churns your insides.
