Abhishek Jain has done a long penance of cinema. He was an assistant to director Sanjay Leela Bhansali in 'Saawariya' and 'Guzaarish' and Subhash Ghai in the film 'Yuvraj'. So far he has made four Gujarati films. Directed three and produced the National Film Award winning Prateek Gandhi's film Wrongside Raju.

Deepak Venkatesan and Prashant Jha have added a new twist in the film 'Hum Do Hamare Do' that out of these fake parents, the father is flirting with the fake mother to the extent and the mother wants to get him out of the way by doing anything. Even if she has to become a fake widowed mother. And, all this drama is because the heroine of the story has to marry a boy who has a small family and a cute dog.
