Happy Anniversary Deepveer: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh is celebrating their second anniversary today on November 14, 2020. What makes their anniversary more exciting is Diwali, they are going to have double celebrations on this Holy festival. The reel and real-life couple are achieving another milestone together and we are nothing less but happy for them.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are the power couple of the Bollywood film industry. The couple has been in a relationship for almost a decade now but kept private until they got married to each other in a private ceremony in Lake Como, Italy in November 2018. On the occasion of their anniversary let's have a look at their iconic love story that how they met and how they fell in love. 

The couple met each other for the first time at the Zee Cine Awards that was held in Macau back in 2012. For Ranveer Singh, it was love at first sight. When he was asked about his first meeting with ladylove Deepika, he said, "The first time I saw her, I almost went flat!" When a fan asked what she was wearing that day, he remembered she was wearing a silver dress and replied, "How can one possibly forget that sight?!"

Their love story started from the shooting of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela's song Ang Laga De and that is the time when they fell for each other. Terence Lewis who is a dance choreographer confirmed in an interview and said that "They were dating each other. It was very clear." Seeing their chemistry on the sets of their first ever movie together, everyone felt like they were in a relationship".

During the preparation for Ram Leela movie, they were one having lunch at Sanjay Leela Bhansali's house and this is the one day she would never forget. The actress said that "Sir called us over for lunch and we were eating and apparently there was a piece of crab stuck in my tooth and he wanted to make me awkward and he said, ‘Oh, there’s a crab stuck in your mouth,’ and I said, ‘Then take it out’. That moment all three of us won’t forget."

Their dating rumors started when they used to snap with each other a lot. Their movie did great at the box office and both of them became the most loved couple on screen over the night. After this movie, their fans were eagerly waiting for them to be seen together once again where they were once again seen in Finding Fanny in which Ranveer Singh played the role of Deepika's husband. 

The dating rumors peaked when the couple started visiting each other now and then. Once Ranveer Singh visited Deepika in Dubai while she was shooting for Happy New Year in Dubai. Deepika also visited Ranveer when he was shooting for Dil Dhadakne Do in Spain. The couple was snapped at a lot in public but despite all of this the couple decided to keep their relationship private.

In 2015, Ranveer Singh proposed to Deepika Padukone on his knees at the IIFA Awards and this was the moment that every fan was waiting for. Then after that, they were seen together at parties with handholdings, doing twinning on the sets.

In an interview, Deepika shared how Ranveer started flirting with her when they met at Yash Raj. She said that  "I was at YashRaj and he was there and he was flirting like it’s nobody’s business and he was dating somebody else at this point and I was smiling to myself and told him, ‘You are flirting with me." The couple has done iconic movies together such as Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, and 83 which is their upcoming movie that is going to release next year in 2021. 

In 2018, the couple finally made their relationship public and got married in Italy on November 14. It was a private affair and only family members and close friends were invited to their wedding. The couple looks beautiful together and we could not take our eyes off them. After their marriage, the couple hosted receptions in Mumbai and Bengaluru for their friends and families. Till now the couple has been together with each other through every thin and thick.
