During India visit, Trump Praises 'DDLJ' & 'Sholay' in Bollywood

America President Donald Trump is on a tour of India. He first visited Sabarmati Ashram and after he wanted to Motera Stadium, the world's largest cricket stadium being built in Ahmedabad. During his maiden India visit, America President Donald Trump made a reference to iconic Bollywood films Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ) and Sholay in his speech.

Counting the work done by the central government led by Narendra Modi, Donald Trump said many things in praise of India. He also mentioned Bollywood in his speech. He said in his speech, 'India produces 2 thousand films every year and this creativity is known as Bollywood in the world'. He Also Added, People all over the world enjoy Bollywood films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Sholay. Among cricketer US President Donald Trump recited legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and Indian Captain Virat Kohli.

He then referred to actor Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. He said in his speech, 'The whole planet is happy to see Bhangra, romance, drama and classical Indian films such as DDLJ. Apart from this, he also mentioned Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra starrer film Sholay with DDLJ. He also showered praise on the film industry. Earlier, former US President Barack Obama had referenced the film on his visit to India.

Trump Said 'This is that the country that produces 2000 movies a year from the hub of genius and creativity referred to as Bollywood. All over the planet, people take great joy in scenes of bhangra, music, dance, romance and drama, and classic Indian films like DDLJ and Sholay,' Trump, who is on his maiden visit to India, said.

Twitteratti also went into a crazy. Fans of Shah Rukh Khan, who plays the lead role in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, were particularly elated. Yash Raj Films, producers of the long-lasting film, also reacted on Twitter.
