Dilip Kumar's Wife Saira Banu Thanks PM Modi For Giving State Funeral To The Legend

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar passed away on Wednesday i.e. 7th July morning. He was 98 years old. Dilip Kumar was ailing for a long time. Dilip Kumar, popularly known as the 'Tragedy King' in Bollywood, gave Hindi cinema the best films like 'Mughle Azam', 'Madhumati', 'Devdas' and 'Ganga Jamuna' and ruled the silver screen for nearly 60 years.

There is a wave of mourning in the whole country is due to the legend's death. All the stars of Bollywood are paying tribute to Dilip Kumar. Dilip Kumar breathed his last on Wednesday morning at 7.30 am at Hinduja Hospital. During this, Dilip Kumar's wife Saira Banu was present with him till his last breath.

Everyone was shocked to hear the news of his death. After which many people were seen expressing their grief on social media. At the same time, many big names like CM Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar, Shahrukh Khan reached Dilip Sahab's house where they was seen supporting Saira Bano.

At the same time, all the politicians, celebrites ranging from PM Modi to Amitabh Bachchan expressed their grief on social media. The funeral of Dilip Sahab was completed with full state honours. After which Saira Banu has thanked PM Modi and CM Uddhav Thackeray from Dilip Kumar's Twitter account.

She tweeted and wrote thank you to PMO India and CMO Maharashtra for conducting the last rites of Dilip Sahab with state honors.

Paying tribute to Dilip Kumar, Prime Minister Modi wrote on the previous day, Dilip Kumar ji will be remembered as a cinematic legend. He was handed over to the Santa Cruz Cemetery at around 5 pm on Wednesday. Earlier, his last journey started with state honors at his home in Khar. His body was wrapped in the tricolour and taken to the Santa Cruz cemetery by ambulance.
