It could have been closer to the ₹24 crore mark, but Spider-Man: No Way Home was released on Thursday, which impacted the collections. Having said that, one would have expected a lot more from the film. Indeed, given its merits, even in the post-pandemic situation, ₹30-35 crores should have ideally come in. However, this was not the case, as weekend growth was adequate but not exceptional, and weekday hold was adequate but not optimal.

Following a ₹3.75 crore opening day, the weekend should have been in the ₹16-17 crore range, with Monday collections in the ₹2-2.5 crores range. None of this occurred, and as a result, the collection remained lower than expected.
