Popular athlete Milkha Singh also known as 'Flying Sikh' has lost the battle to COVID-19. Milkha Singh, who was suffering from COVID-19 for several days, has passed away. Milkha was found to be COVID-19 positive on 20 May and died on Friday, 18 June.
Milkha was admitted to the hospital on June 3 due to falling oxygen levels. After 5 days of his wife's death, now Milkha also left this world. Due to being admitted to the hospital himself, Milkha could not even perform the last rites of his wife.
Bollywood celebs have also suffered a major setback due to Milkha's departure. Many celebs including Priyanka Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, Raveena Tandon, Taapsee Pannu have paid tribute to Milkha after her departure.
