Harnaaz Sandhu wins Miss Universe 2021 

Miss Universe 2021 was held in Israel, and India's Harnaaz Sandhu was crowned the winner. After Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta, the stunning pageant participant became the third Miss Universe winner. At the 70th edition of the prestigious annual event, South Africa's Lalela Mswane was named second runner-up, and Paraguay's Nadia Ferreira was named first runner-up.

Harnaaz Sandhu, 21, of Punjabi origin, was representing India at the 70th Miss Universe pageant. Sushmita Sen won the title in 1994, and Lara Dutta won it in 2000. It had been 21 years since the previous victory. Many Bollywood celebs reacted to Harnaaz Sandhu's miss universe 2021 title win.

Bollywood actress Lara Dutta, who won Miss Universe 2000 title, also congratulated Harnaaz & wrote, "Congratulations @HarnaazSandhu03 !!!! Welcome to the club!!! We’ve waited 21 long years for this!!! You make us SO SO proud!!! A billion dreams come true!!!"

Bollywood's veteran actress Kareena Kapoor also congratulated Harnaaz & she put a story on her Instagram Handle. Kareena wrote, "Congratulations to the newly crowned Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz Sandhu!"
