The film, which also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Tabu, depicts the history of India through the life of an ordinary man. Bharat takes inspiration from South Korean film - 'Ode to My Father' by Yoon Je-kyoon, and the film features a character whose journey runs parallel to his country.
