Ayushmann Khurrana and his better half Tahira Kashyap have approached to add to the Maharashtra Chief Minister's Relief Fund to help individuals adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the state.
Ayushmann and Tahira transferred a note on their social media handle saying thanks to every single Indian who has continually motivated the couple to offer more towards aiding individuals assaulted by the COVID-19 emergency.
Both wrote a joint proclamation that said, " We have been in the eye of the storm since last year. This pandemic has broken our hearts, made us endure pain and suffering like never before, showed us how solidarity with one another can make us handle this humanitarian crisis. Today, again, this pandemic asks us to show fortitude, resilience, and mutual support.”
They said, “This is the time when we should come together as a community and care for each other. People need as much help as possible and we can all look to do our bit as we deem fit.”
Ayushmann and Tahira mentioned an ever-increasing number of Indians to approach to help individuals out of luck. Recently Bollywood superstar was also seen helping frontline workers by distributing food packets and Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has also urged the US government to dispatch COVID-19 vaccines ASAP to India.
