Attack – Part 1 had a disappointing weekend, grossing only ₹11.30 crores. Sunday did indicate some progress, but it wasn't significant enough to make the situation comfortable for the picture. ₹4.20 crores* were received, and these should have been the first-day figures at the very least. If that had been the case, the film's opening weekend would have been at least ₹20 crores, giving it some breathing room. The movie also failed the Monday litmus test & its now looks like the makers will suffer heavy losses. Attack box office collection day 4 numbers have been given below.
Day 1 (Fri) | April 1 | ₹3 Cr |
Day 2 (Sat) | April 2 | ₹4 Cr |
Day 3 (Sun) | April 3 | ₹4.30 Cr |
Day 4 (Mon) | April 4 | ₹1.8 Cr |
₹13.1 Cr |

Attack – Part 1 is a decent film that should have done well, but things don't always go according to plan. Call it the competition in the form of RRR [Hindi] and The Kashmir Files, or whatever you want to call it, but this John Abraham picture should have done a lot better.
