Article 15 Box Office collection Day 19 - Ayushmann Khurrana starrer "Article 15" is running steady at the box office since its release. The low-budget film has so far made good progress. Released on June 28, the film is facing a tough competition from Shahid Kapoor's blockbuster Kabir Singh and the newly released Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 which shows in their box office collections. Article 15 is Ayushmann Khurrana's third highest grossing film in his career right behind AndhaDhun and Badhaai Ho. The movie received immense critical acclaim upon its release and the positive response by the critics as well as the audience shows in the box office collections.

      Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the film's box office collection was at around Rs 70 lakh on Tuesday, thus taking the total collection of the film reached up-to the Rs 59.35 crore approx. Article 15 box office collection was Rs 33.74 crores in its first week, Rs 18.25 crores in the second week and Rs 5.55 crore in his third week at the box office.

Article 15 has been inspired from true life events, including 2014 Badaun gang rape and 2016 Una flogging incident. Ayushmann Khurrana plays the role of IPS officer Ayan Ranjan in Article 15. The actor has been applauded by fans as well as critics for his performance as a serious cop. The film takes inspiration from true events such as the 2014 Badaun gang rape and the 2016 Una flogging incident and is based on Article 15 of the Indian Constitution which prohibits discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth.

Apart from Ayushmann Khurrana, the film also features Isha Talwar, Sayani Gupta, M Nassar, Kumud Mishra and Manoj Pahwa in key roles.
