In the year 2019, after doing a lead role in four films and a special appearance in one film, the past year did not go well for Akshay Kumar. Due to the condition of his film 'Lakshmi' in the year 2020 on OTT, OTT people now want to think a hundred times before handing their new films.

In this affair, the release date of his film 'Bellbottom' is not being announced. But, Akshay Kumar's film Express is running at its own pace.

After five completed films and two under-production films on the way to release, work on his eighth film began on Monday. There has been an uproar about Akshay Kumar's film 'Bellbottom' since last year.

Producers Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani wrapped up the shooting of their film 'Coolie No. 1' in the UK, selling their film 'Bellbottom' to OTT. When everyone came home to the UK, the cinema halls were closed due to lockdown. When the release date of the film was disturbed, the talk of selling it to OTT started.

Jackky Bhagnani's company Pooja Entertainment issued a statement on this that no one other than him will talk about the film 'Bellbottom'.  Yes, meanwhile, rumors have been floating in Mumbai regarding Jackky Bhagnani, in which a model has accused him of indecent behavior.

Controversies are also starting over Akshay Kumar's other film 'Prithviraj'. The Karni Sena and some other organizations have demanded to rename the film. These people say that calling Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan just by saying 'Prithviraj' is an insult to this brave warrior.

Complaints have been continuously reaching the Mumbai Police regarding this. Akshay Kumar's stand is not yet clear about whether he will talk to his producer, director or not. The film is being produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films and Yash Raj Films has a tradition of staying away from such controversies. Yash Raj has made this first history-based film in its 50-year history.

Reliance Entertainment has also talked to some OTTs to release Akshay Kumar's completed film 'Sooryavanshi' on OTT one and a half years ago, but the amount that its producers were expecting from OTT regarding the film, the amount now doesn't seem to match.

This conversation has also got a major setback due to the discharge of Srishti Behl from Netflix's Mumbai office. The case of some producers of Hindi cinema in connivance with some Netflix executives and selling their content lying in boxes for years during the lockdown has been quite a topic of discussion in Netflix. Sources reveal that over half a dozen seniors have been laid off from Netflix's Indian office in recent months.

Akshay Kumar's two more films 'Atrangi Re' and 'Bachchan Pandey' have also been completed. In the first film, he will be seen in the role of a magician, and in the second film, he will be seen in the role of a don from North India who dreams of making a film on his life.

Apart from these five films, Akshay Kumar has to start films named 'Raksha Bandhan' and 'Ram Setu' as soon as the shooting starts in Mumbai. There is talk of taking a famous face from South India in 'Ram Setu' to give it a pan-India look.

On Monday, the news of work on another film of Akshay Kumar has come. This film is going to be made as a sequel to director Umesh Shukla's film 'Oh My God', which was released 10 years ago.

Pankaj Tripathi has been signed in the film for the same role which Paresh Rawal did in the first film. Yami Gautam will be the heroine of Akshay Kumar in the film, who is recently married to director Aditya Dhar.
