Laxmmi Bomb starrer Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani is in trouble, as the movie got a legal notice from Karni Sena to change the title. The makers recently received a legal notice regarding the change in title as according to them Laxmmi Bomb is quite offensive for the Hindu community.
According to Zoom, the legal notice declare that the ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ is "derogatory" and "offensive" towards Goddess Laxmi, who is the goddess in the Hindu community. In their notice, Karni Sena has also reportedly alleged that the makers "intentionally" used the title ‘Laxmmi Bomb’, with the sole motive to lower the "dignity" and to show "disrespect" towards Goddess Laxmi. As per the legal notice, The movie is promoting love jihad as the name of the male actor is Muslim and the female actress is Hindu.
Advocate Raghavendra Mehrotra, on behalf of Shri Rajput Karni Sena, filed a legal notice to change the title of Laxmmi Bomb as the title affects the sentiment of religious and spirituals aspects of the Hindu community. Karni Seva exclaims that the name Laxmmi Bomb, it gives the wrong message regarding god, goddess, customs, culture, and much more.
Laxmmi Bomb featuring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in the main lead and it is directed by Raghava Lawrence. The movie is the Hindi remake of south mega-blockbuster Kanchana. Laxmmi Bomb is all set to release on November 9 and it says that yeh Diwali Laxmmi Bomb Waali.
Though Karni Sena filed a legal notice to the makers of Laxmmi Bomb for changing the title. Now we can wait to see how the makers of Laxmmi Bomb would react and change their title or not.
