Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 2 may not see light of day as director Kumar Mangat faces legal trouble with Viacom 18 Motion Pictures

As per reports, The Viacom 18 Motion Pictures representative has said that Kumar Mangat cannot make the Drishyam 2 autonomously or without their association. This development has surely put Drishyam 2's future in the balance.

Drishyam starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu was a serious hit and is as yet perhaps the best thrill ride made. Directed by Kumar Mangat and produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, the film was lauded by the audiences.

According to the reports, Kumar Mangat is planning a part 2 with Ajay Devgn and Tabu repeating their jobs under his company Panorama Studios.

While Viacom 18 has sent him insights regarding the legal privileges of Drishyam 2 – The Resumption, Mangat reacted to a news portal with the notification that his company Panorama Studios has acquired the legal privileges of the film and will keep on making it regardless.

The Viacom 18 Motion Pictures' representative anyway has said that Kumar Mangat cannot make the film autonomously or without their association.

This tussle has prompted a legal issue between Kumar Mangat and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.
