After OTT Release Dil Bechara, Sadak 2, and Shakuntala Devi might get to release in cinemas. Some of the multiplexes chain denied the release of already premiered OTT movies.

Movies premiered on OTT platforms might be released on cinema halls but some of the leading multiplexes denied the screening of movies like Dil Bechara, Sadak2, KhudaHafiz, Shakuntala Devi, and so on. These movies were in talks before the release as Bollywood is in the waves of Nepotism. people are quite excited about the reopening of multiplexes and waiting to see Dil Bechara after Sushant Singh Rajput sudden suicide. Multiplexes are soon to be opening on 15 October post lockdown. 

Already being premiered on Disney+Hotstar, Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the movies on Big Screens. It was already in the air that production houses have a minor infatuation with the multiplexes releases. Earlier one of the leading Multiplex chain INOX passed a statement quoting "INOX would like to express extreme displeasure and disappointment on an announcement made by a production house today, to release their movie directly on an OTT platform by skipping the theatrical window run. The decision of the production house to deviate from the globally prevalent content windowing practice is alarming and disconcerting." After the immense response towards Dil Bechara featuring Shushant Singh Rajput on Hotstar, other celebs also showing interest in OTT platforms. 

Many movies were released on the OTT platform due to Covid 19 outbreak, Movies like Gulabo Sitabo starring Amitabh Bacchan and Ayushmaan Khurana, Shakuntala Devi starring Vidya Balan, Gunjan Saxena starring Jhanvi Kapoor. These movies can wait for the cinema release but production houses decided to release on the OTT platform. As we know that theatres are soon to be reopening and people can enjoy the big screen again post lockdown. Multiplexes are keenly supported by the initiative of social distancing and sanitization, so they apply all the major precautions to keep this in mind.
