Aditi Rao Hydari and John Abraham have joined hands for an I'm coming period film which will showcase a cross-border love story. The first poster of the film has dropped today in which Aditi and John have impressed the audience with their spectacular royal looks. John has for the first time become a Sikh and will be essaying the role of Arjun Kapoor's father in the film. Meanwhile, Aditi will also be playing the young age mother of Arjun Kapoor and they will appear in flashes throughout the film.
As the phase of unlocking has started, shooting for the film will be resumed soon and the actors will be seen coming together for the project. Apart from the three, the film also stars Rakul Preet Singh who was last seen in De De Pyar De opposite Ajay Devgn and Tabu.
As far as John is concerned, he told a website that he felt hard to say no to the project. "When I heard the script, I instantly knew that this would be a special part, and when Kaashvie suggested I play it, it was difficult to refuse." Adding more about it, Nikkhil revealed, "There is a parallel between Arjun and Rakul’s characters in the present day and the forced break-up between John and Aditi’s characters in 1947 following the Partition. He plays a sardar for the first time. The idea is to realise true love through the story of a woman who’s been yearning for closure for 70 year." Check out the first poster of the film here:
