Adipurush Release Date Confirmed: Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan film to have a theatrical release in 2022

Adipurush is a Hindi language film directed by Om Raut and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Kirshan Kumar. The film features Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon in the leading roles. It is going to produce under the banner of Retrophiles and T-Series Films. 

The hearthrob Prabhas took it to his Twitter handle to announce the release date of Adipurush. The film is going to have a theratical release in the year 2022. The film is going to release on August 11, 2022 in theatres.

Adipurush celebates the victory of good over evil in which Prabhas is going to play the role of Lord Ram, and Saif Ali Khan to be seen as Lankesh. Their fans have been waiting for this movie to release sooner but now the makers have announced the release date fans have to wait a little bit longer with the same excitement. 

The film is said to be an action-drama, a full entertainment package for the family. It follows the story of Ramayana when Lord Ram killed Ravan Lankesh for kidnapping Goddess Sita.

The film is going to release in multipule language such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and many more. The actress who will play the role of Sita is not finalised yet but according to the rumors, name of Anushka Sharma, Deepika Padukone, and Kriti Sanon came up for the respective role. 

Saif Ali Khan has earlier worked with Om Raut for Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. In an interview, Saif Ali Khan said that "I'm thrilled to be working with Omi dada (Om Raut) again! He has a grand vision and the technical knowledge to really pull it off."

"He has taken me beyond the cutting edge of our cinema in the way he shot Tanhaji and this time he is taking us all further! It's a phenomenal project and I'm super thrilled to be a part of it! I look forward to clashing swords with the mighty Prabhas and to play a role that is electrifying and demonic," he further added.
