A major news organisation recently interviewed Kabir Khan, and when asked about a sequel to 83, he replied, "As of now, I am still stuck in 1983. You already know how I feel about sequels. However, the story of 2011 is not a sequel; it is a stand-alone story. But I'm not thinking about it right now; I'm completely focused on 83, and I can't wait for the rest of the world to see it."
