Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer "Bharat" has noticed a very good extended first-weekend collection at the box office. The film released on the occasion of Eid on June 5 on Wednesday. The film sees Salman Khan in five different looks and has been attracting the audience to the screens. Superstar Salman Khan's box office success story has continued with 'Bharat', which crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office in his first weekend of its release, making Salman's 14th back-to-back film in the Rs 100 crore club.
While the hype and excitement for Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bharat still continue. Bharat hit the screens on Eid and it crossed over the 100 crore mark within four days of its release. The film also glimpses the special appearance of Varun Dhawan in a cameo. The film features Katrina as Kumud Raina, Tabu as Meher, Sunil as Vilayti Khan and Disha as Radha playing an important role in the film. Actress-dancer Nora Fatehi is playing a fabulous role in Bharat. She was also seen dancing alongside Salman Khan in the song 'Turpeya'.
The film, which saw an opening of Rs 42.30 crore, on Sunday collected Rs 27.90 crore at the Box Office, taking its net collection to Rs 150.10 crore. The film is most likely to become the second highest grosser of 2019. It is to be noted that the film faced tough competition from two crucial ICC World Cup matches on Wednesday and Sunday that made less revenue in its business. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the latest business collection of the film, "Bharat" Wed 42.30 cr, Thu 31 cr, Fri 22.20 cr, Sat 26.70 cr, Sun 27.90 cr in total 150.10 cr.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is an official adaptation of the 2014 South Korean movie - "An Ode To My Father". Meanwhile, Salman Khan has booked the 2020 Eid slot for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Inshallah'. Rohit Shetty and Akshay Kumar's 'Sooryavanshi' will also be releasing on the same day on next Eid.
