Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University displays answer key of Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE), held on Sept 20, 2020. AKTU conducts UPSEE 2020 at allotted exam centres in different cities across Uttar Pradesh state. The State Entrance Examination on 20 September 2020 was conducted following the proper safety guidelines. A social-distancing was followed across all the examination centres ensuring proper dis-infection for the safety of the students. Students were allowed wearing face masks, hand sanitizers and carrying personal and transparent water bottle was made necessary to students.

The UPSEE Entrance Examination was conducted for Degree level Engineering institutions and other Professional colleges. AKTU conducted UPSEE 2020 for admission to first year of the all UG, MBA, MCA courses offered at the Institutions affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow including other mentioned universities situated in territory of Uttar Pradesh for the academic year 2020-2021. Ahead of the UPSEE examination Ultra Violet (UV) rays were used to sanitize OMR Sheets. A total 1.6 lakh candidates registered to appear for the UPSEE 2020 examination with an aim to admissions into B.Tech, B.Arch / B.Des / B.Pharm/ BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA/ B.Voc./ MBA/ MBA Integrated/ MCA & other courses in participating colleges/ institutes of Uttar Pradesh state.

UPSEE-2020 conducted with objective multiple type questions except Drawing Aptitude test (Part B of Paper 3). The candidates were required to opt papers and subjects for appearing in the entrance examination, subject to their eligibility as per clause. All Papers conducted in the OMR based Test mode only.

UPSEE OMR based examination 20 Sept, 2020 held in successive shifts following the safety protocols. In exam a total 50 objective type questions each of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a total of 150 questions whereas, 100 objective type questions were asked for Paper 4-8.

Paper 1 consisted of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, Paper 2 of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, Paper 3 carrying Aptitude Test for Architecture & Design Part-A: Mathematics and Aesthetic Sensitivity Part–B: Drawing Aptitude, Paper 4 of Aptitude Test for General Awareness, Paper 5 of Aptitude Test for B.Sc Graduates in Engineering (Lateral Entry)/ 2nd Year MCA (Lateral Entry), Paper 6 of Aptitude Test for MBA/ MCA, Paper 7 Aptitude Test for Diploma Holders in Pharmacy (Lateral Entry) and Paper 8 Aptitude Test for Diploma Holders in Engineering (Lateral Entry) held.

All objective type questions are required to be answered on a specially designed OMR answer sheet against the respective question number. Candidate is supposed to select only one choice for correct answer in each question.

For UPSEE Question Paper (Paper 1-8) candidates need to login to the website-

Every objective multiple type question would carry four/ five marks (B.Arch) marks for each correct answer. More than one answers indicated against the question will be deemed as incorrect answer and no marks are awarded for the incorrect answer. It should be noted that, there will be no negative marking. However, a record of incorrect answers given by a candidate will be kept separately.
