Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission successfully conducts written examination for the Junior Engineer (JE) post, on 19 December. Following the social-distancing norms, the JE examination (Uttarakhand Payjal Nigam) 19 December is held at allotted centres across the state. Commission on December 19, 2020 (Saturday) organizes Junior Engineer examination at allotted centres. In examination Multiple-Choice based questions from General Knowledge and Subject specific, were asked. UKSSSC conducts JE examination in Afternoon shifts. The examination has been conducted following the safety guidelines. Students were only allowed wearing face masks, carrying hand-sanitizer inside the examination hall, a report said.
UKSSSC JE (Civil) exam is scheduled to be held on 19 December 2020 (Saturday) from 2 PM to 4 PM and 20 December 2020 (Sunday) from 09:30 AM to 11:30 AM and from 2 PM to 4 PM. Ahead of the display of official Answer key at sssc.uk.gov.in, candidates are provided a detailed review and analysis of JE Paper 1 General Knowledge, and Paper 2 (Subject specific), here.
Wearing of mask/ face cover was made mandatory for all candidates. Candidates without mask/ face cover were not allowed entry into the venue. Candidates, however, allowed to remove their masks for verification, whenever required by the Examination functionaries. Candidate were allowed carrying their own hand sanitizer (small size) in transparent bottle. Candidates following the COVID 19 norms of 'social distancing' as well as 'personal hygiene' inside the Examination Halls/ Rooms as well as in the premises of the Venue.
UKSSSC JE exam held from 2 PM to 4 PM. The Objective Type examination was consisted of a total 375 marks in Paper 1, and 2, in a time duration of 2.00 (Two) hours. Candidates can view the set-code wise answers key for General Knowledge & Subject specific paper at web site ssc.uk.gov.in, likely within 5 days of the examination.

Paper: Subject Specific- (Civil Engg)- 100 Questions
The written examination consisted of objective type multiple choice based questions related to Diploma in Civil Engineering. The total marks of the exam are 100 marks. Each correct answer will be given 1 mark and 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The candidates will be given 2 hours to complete the paper. Candidates will be required to score a minimum of 45 marks (35% marks for SC/ST) in order to qualify the test.
