National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday conducts UGC NET June 2020 online examination for Education and Geography subjects. The online computer-based examination (CBT) is conducted in two shifts (shift 1 and shift 2) following the social-distancing and safety guidelines. Candidates answer the NTA UGC NET 12 November exam for Education or Geography subject, can check the availability of Answer key and solutions at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Nodal Agency conducts UGC NET 2020 exam for Education (Subject Code-9) in 1st shift and for Geography (subject code-80) in second shift. The examination was organized at more than 830 exam centres across the country. UGC NET November 12 online exam began at 9:00 AM and lasted at 12:00 Noon for shift 1 and from 3.00 to 6.00 pm for shift 2.
Conducting the UGC NET Paper 1 and Paper 2 online examination in shift 1 and shift 2, a detailed analysis of question papers, is being facilitated to help students. After the successfull conduct of UGC NET June 2020 online exam, NTA on November 16, displays UGC NET Answer key, response sheet and notice regarding lodging challenge/s against provisional key. The Question Papers, marked responses of each candidate and the provisional answer keys for 26 NET Subjects (Hindi in 02 shifts) conducted between 04 November and 13 November 2020 (Annexure-I) are made available on the website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The candidates who appeared in the test may login into the website, using their application number and date of birth and click the link for display of their question papers and marked responses and the provisional answer keys. UGC NET 12th November Paper Analysis:
Paper 1 covered a total 50 objective type questions (Multiple choice, Matching type, True/ False, Assertion-Reasoning type) carrying 100 marks. Whereas, Paper 2 consisted of a total 100 questions, each carrying 2 marks. Each section gets equal weightage i.e 5 questions and 10 marks from each section, i.e., 2 marks for each correct answer. The total time duration of the exam was 3 Hours, in two shifts.
Paper 1 (Common)- A total 50 questions carrying a maximum 100 marks, were asked from topics including Teaching Aptitude, Research Aptitude, Reading Comprehension, Communication, Reasoning (including Maths), Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Information & Communication Technology (ICT), People & Environment, Higher Education System: Governance, and Polity & Administration.
Paper 2 (Education): A total 100 questions (maximum 200 marks) were asked from Educational Studies, History, Politics and Economics of Education, Learner and Learning Process, Teacher Education, Curriculum Studies, Research In Education, Pedagogy, Andragogy and Assessment, Technology in/ for Education, Educational Management, Administration and Leadership, and Inclusive Education.
Paper 2 (Geography)- A total 100 questions carrying a total 200 maximum marks were asked from topics including Geomorphology, Geography of India, Climatology, Oceanography, Geography of Environment, Population and Settlement Geography, Geography of Economic Activities and Regional Development, Cultural, Social and Political Geography, Geographic Thought, and Geographical Techniques.
