National Testing Agency (NTA) conducting the UGC NET June 2020 examination on October 1, 2020 displays the Answer key. Agency on Nov 6, released UGC-NET Paper 1, 2 response sheet and Answer key for English (Subject Code 30), at web site. Nodal Agency on Thursday conducts Online Computer Based UGC NET for English (Subject Code 30) in two shifts. The examination was organized following the social-distancing norms, at more than 830 exam centres across the country. UGC NET 1st October 2020 paper began at 9:00 AM and lasted at 12:00 Noon (Group-1) and Shift 2 from 3.00 to 6.00 PM. Above 2 lakh candidates have registered for the UGC NET June 2020 for English subject.
Conducting the UGC NET Paper 1 and Paper 2 online examination for English (Sub Code 30) in shift 1 and shift 2, a detailed analysis of Question papers is being made available to help students. A list of UGC NET shortlisted candidates for JRF/ Assistant Professor consists 4027 Assistant Professor and 275 JRF in December 2019 session and 4104 Asstt Professor and 322 JRF in June 2019 session.

UGC NET October 1 English first shift exam was conducted of questions based on Drama, Poetry, Fiction, Short story, Non-Fictional Prose, Language: Basic concepts, theories and pedagogy. English in Use, English in India: history, evolution and futures, Cultural Studies, Literary Criticism, Literary Theory post World War II and Research Methods and Materials in English.
October 1, 2020 examination held successfully consisted of two papers i.e Paper 1 and 2. A total 150 Questions were asked total in paper 1 and 2. The total time duration of the exam was 3 Hours, in two shifts. Here's the direct link to check the UGC NET 2020 Answer Key 2020.
Paper 1 covered a total 50 Objective Type Questions (Multiple choice, Matching type, True/ False, Assertion-Reasoning type) carrying 100 marks. Whereas, Paper 2 consisted of a total 100 questions, each carrying 2 marks. Each section gets equal weightage i.e 5 questions and 10 marks from each section, i.e., 2 marks for each correct answer.
Second shift exam held for the English subject code 30 consisted of Paper 1 & Paper 2 in CBT mode. Paper 1 consisted of 50 Questions on General Aptitude and in Paper 2 a total 100 objective type Multiple Choice Based questions specific to the English subject, asked.
