Staff Selection Commission is about to release Phase-8 Selection posts online Exam 2020 Answer key. Commission would facilitate provisional and final Answer key for Phase VIII Selection Posts exam answer key. Candidates who appear for the 9 November SSC Phase 8 Selection posts, online computer-based examination can check their shift-wise solutions, response sheet and notice on raising challenges against provisional Answer key. 

Commission on Monday, November 9 successfully conducts the online Computer Based Test following the social-distancing norms. The examination was conducted at allotted examination centres across the country. As many as 1.3 lakh candidates are registered for the Selection posts Phase VIII Examination. A total three separate Computer Based Tests held consisting of objective and Multiple-Choice Based questions for the posts with minimum educational qualification of Matriculation, Higher Secondary, and Graduation & above. levels.

Commission began the Selection phase 8 examination on November 6, 2020 after successfully concluding the SSC CHSL left-over examinations in the September-October 2020. Candidates appear for the SSC Phase 8 Selection posts online examination can view the Shift 1, 2 question Paper analysis, ahead of the release of provisional Answer key. The Examination was conducted following the social-distancing and other safety guidelines. Candidates were allowed wearing face cover and having own sanitizers/ hand gloves.

An analysis of Staff Selection Commission Phase 8 Selection posts (09/11/2020) computer-based examination along with the paper difficulty level, is facilitated ahead of the publication of official Answer key. According to the experts, in Computer Based examination a total 25 Questions were asked from General Intelligence, 25 from English Language, and similar number of questions on Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness. Total 100 questions carrying a maximum 200 marks, were there on Computer Screen in front of candidates. Candidates had to click on one option, out of total four choices.

SSC Phase 8 Selection Posts 9 November Paper Analysis- 

Computer Based test consisting a total 100 questions from English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and General Intelligence & Reasoning, were asked. According to the GradeUp experts the overall paper level of November 9, 1st shift computer-based test was moderate. The questions were asked from the following sections- 

General Intelligence- Questions in this section were from Similarities and differences, Relationship, Figure Classification, Number Series, Visual memory, Space visualization, Discriminating observation, Problem-solving, Analysis and Judgment, Decision making and Non-verbal series, etc.

English Language: Questions were asked to test English Vocabulary, Grammar, Tenses, Sentence structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Cloze Test, and Jumble words.

General Awareness- Question in General Awareness section were from Sports, Economy, Polity, Defence, International Events, History, Culture, Geography, Awards, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc.

Quantitative Aptitude: Questions asked from Number systems, Computation of whole numbers, Profit and loss, Discount, Decimals & fractions, Use of tables and graphs, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Mensuration, Percentage, Time and distance, Ratio and proportion, Ratio and time, Averages and Time and work.
