Staff Selection Commission is holding the MTS Exam 2021 in computer-based mode. The exam is scheduled to be conducted from October 05 to November 02, 2021. In the same row, on Wednesday, October 22, the commission organizes the Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) posts online examination. The exam for the first shift is now over and analysis of the same is shared below. The overall difficulty level of the morning shift is reported as moderate.
Based on the media reports, the commission is conducting the MTS exam at designated centres in different cities across the country. The online examination is being held following the social distancing and COVID-19 protocols.
Here below we share the detailed analysis & review of the SSC MTS 22 October shift 1, 2, and 3 exams being held at centres across the country. The official answer key, however, will be released by the SSC once the examination is over at ssc.nic.in. The candidates will be provided with a chance to raise objections, if any, against the provisional key.
SSC MTS 22 October Shift 1 Paper Analysis:
According to students, the MTS shift 1 exam consists of 100 multiple choice type questions divided into 4 sections namely General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, and General Awareness. In these subjects, the difficulty level of Numerical Aptitude and Reasoning was difficult in comparison to the English language and GK.

English Language (Easy): Questions were based on topics including Synonyms/ Antonyms, Wrongly-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, One Word Substitution, Improvement of Sentences, Sentence Rearrangement, Cloze Passage, Fill in the Blanks, etc.
General Intelligence & Reasoning (Easy to Moderate): Questions were asked from topics including Time & Distance, Age, Numer Series, Odd & Out, Classification, Coding-Decoding, Word Formation, Blood Relations, and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
Mathematics (Moderate to Difficult): Questions were from topics including SI & CI, Profit & Loss, Mensuration, Average, Work & Time LCM & HCF, Time and Work, etc.
General Awareness (Moderate): Questions were asked from 2020 Current Affairs, Indian Constitution, Indian Economy, Geography Sports, International Events, Awards, etc.
It should be noted that the commission has proposed a negative marking in the MTS examination. According to the scheme, each correct response will award 1 mark to the candidate. Whereas, a negative marking of 0.25 Marks for wrong answers will be applicable for incorrect responses. The analysis of the 2nd shift will commence soon.
