Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is organizing CHSL tier-1 computer-based test for leftover candidates who couldn't appear in April 2021. On Wednesday, August 11, 2021, the exam for the 1st and 2nd shifts is successfully conducted. Based on the reports, the 1st shift exam is over now at all designated centers. The candidates who have appeared for the exam or going to appear in the next shift exams now can check the analysis of Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier 1, Exam 2021. Based on the inputs, the level of the 1st shift examination was "Easy to Moderate".
According to feedback received from the candidates, the questions based on GK and English were comparatively easier than the last couple of shifts. Whereas, questions from the Quantitative Aptitude section were time-consuming. Candidates were given a maximum of 1 hour to attempt all the questions.
The tier-1 exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (objective). The language of the question paper was in both Hindi and English languages. Candidates are awarded 2 marks for every correct answer and 0.50 marks will get deducted for every incorrect answer. The candidates were given a one-hour duration to attempt all the questions. In CHSL tier-1 a maximum of 200 marks can be awarded.
English: 25 Questions (Easy level)
Quantitative Aptitude: 25 Questions (Moderate to Difficult level)
General Knowledge: 25 Questions (Moderate to Difficult level)
General Awareness: 25 Questions (Moderate level)
