SSC CGL Tier-1 Answer Key 2021: 14 August Shift 1, 2 & 3 Paper Analysis; Experts' Opinions Shared

Staff Selection Commission is conducting CGL Tier 1 online computer-based exam on August 14, 2021, in multiple shifts. CGL Tier 1 online exam for shift 1 of today's paper is over now. The online exam is scheduled to be conducted in multiple shifts at centers across the country. For reference of the candidates, exam analysis of CGL 14 August shifts 1, 2, and 3 are be shared. Candidates who have attempted the shift 1 online exam or going to appear in upcoming shifts can check the analysis, experts' opinions on the August 14 Shift 1 exam. Section-wise difficulty level and unofficial answer key are also shared.

Based on the feedback provided by the candidates, the overall level of the SSC CGL 14 August first shift exam was easy. Provisional and unofficial solutions of questions based on General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, and English are shared by the experts. 

While the official answer key will be issued after the tier 1 exam is over. The answer key along with objection intimation will be made available on the official website ssc.nic.in. It will help candidates to figure out the correct answers to the questions and also to calculate their scores.

Ahead of the official release of the answer key, candidates are asked to go through the paper analysis for shift 1, 2, & 3. It will help them assess the exam section-wise weightage, difficulty level, and safe score. The SSC CGL Tier I exam consists of 4 subjects namely General Intelligence & Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness. The subject-wise analysis, the difficulty level of CGL tier 1 is as follows.

  • Quantitative Aptitude: The level of the questions was moderate to difficult level.
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning: This section was easy to solve.
  • General Awareness: The section was of moderate difficulty level and the large portion was from current affairs and static gk.
  • English Language and Comprehension: English section questions were easy to moderate.

General Intelligence Reasoning- 25 Questions, Maximum Marks 50, Safe Attempt- 18-21
