State Bank of India or SBI successfully conducts Probationary Officer (PO) Prelims exam on 5 January. The examination is organized for the 2nd consecutive day, in Online Computer Based mode following the social-distancing. After the examination is over, SBI shall facilitate official Answer key ahead of the announcement of Prelims result at sbi.co.in.

SBI would be conducting the PO Preliminary examination on January 4, 5 and 6, 2021. The paper consists of 3 sections – Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and English language. The candidates were required to attempt 100 questions in a time duration of One hour and 20 minutes for each section.

For most of the shifts, the paper was said to be moderate with English language section as easy comparative to other two. A total of 30 questions were asked from English Language followed by 35 questions each from Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude. According to the students, as many as Two Questions from Data Interpretation (DI) are being asked in all shifts.
English Language: From English section questions were asked from Error detection, Double filers and Sentence Rearrangement. Level of the paper is termed as Easy.
Reasoning: For Reasoning Ability, questions on linear Seating Arrangement, Square Seating Arrangement as well as Order and Sequence based Puzzles were asked. 3 questions from Blood relation were asked in all shifts. Questions on coding, decoding and direction as well as syllogism were also asked from the Reasoning section.

Quantitative Aptitude: From Quantitative Aptitude section Questions were asked from Simplification, Simple Interest & Compound Interest, Mensuration – Cylinder, Cone, Sphere, Ratio and Proportion and Average.
